Moonlighting - Homages quasi una Fantasia Op39 no.2 - for flute and piano
Moonlighting for flute and piano.jpg

This is an expanded duet version for flute and piano of my piece Moonlighting (op.39). As with the original work, each movement takes as its starting point some aspect of Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata, as well as paying homage to other composers such as Steve Reich, Arnold Schoenberg and Igor Stravinsky. The new version also adds an entirely new finale, 'Mirrored Moonlight', where for the first time Beethoven joins hands with Arvo Pärt.
